Not only a very talented song writer but also a GREAT Human fighting the good fight to get the word out. JJ McGuigan was born in Wichita Kansas where he currently resides. He found a passion for music at the age of 13 when he received his first drum set. He later picked up guitar and started writing songs at the age of 20. He attended Newman University where he played for the Men's basketball team and was an assistant coach there while attending Full Sail University. His main focus and passion is writing songs with an emphasis on lyrical creation. He has put out an EP called Dissociative with Garret Crow and produced by Micajah Ryan.  He is now releasing another 3 song EP titled Time to Survive. My mental health journey -  I was diagnosed with OCD at the age of 16, along with Major Depression, anxiety, and depersonalization.  It took me a long while to overcome this and I still have to fight today.  I find that reaching out to others and being open and honest is very important.  Hearing each others story and learning from one another is very critical I believe.
