Over the past nearly 20 years, I have had the good fortune to serve in many roles in Congress, and they have all helped me better serve you, my employers in southern Wisconsin. Chairman of the Budget Committee, chairman of the Ways and Means Committee and speaker of the House are all nice positions, and I have accomplished a lot. However, my titles of husband and father have always been my most cherished, and that is why I have decided that my current term as your congressman will be my last one. Paul Ryan Political opponents in recent months have shredded Ryan, claiming that for the last two years, Ryan hasn’t appeared in person in his own legislative district to deliver a single “town hall” talk to constituents.
