"Paul's Letter to the Philippians — The Witness of the Apostle Paul — Sharing Christ’s Suffering Is Our Glory and Should Be Our Joy!”

In our study today and next time we will look at more of verse 10 of Philippians 3.  Our primary focus today is on Paul’s words “the fellowship of his sufferings” while next time we will consider the conformation “unto his death”.  Both of these constitute expressions of Paul’s testimony regarding the working of Christ’s resurrection life in him. The first we will examine today by especially taking note of what Paul writes in his second letter to the Corinthians, chapters four and six.  His descriptions there of ministry using these words “alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh” stand as perhaps the greatest statement of Christ’s working in the apostle of the Gentiles.  His life and ministry are set forth here as examples to us of the resurrection power of Christ.  How can we not be motivated to follow or imitate Paul while reading these words?
