Paul's Second Missionary Journey | World Without End

Acts 16:1-15: Paul and Silas continue the second missionary journey. In Lystra, they meet Timothy, son of a Jewish believer and Greek father, well spoken of by the brothers. Paul circumcises Timothy (not for salvation, but for gospel access to Jews).As they deliver the Council of Jerusalem's decision, churches are strengthened and grow daily.Then something unexpected: Forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach in Asia. Attempted Bithynia, the Spirit of Jesus did not allow them. So they go to Troas.The Macedonian Vision: A man appears to Paul, "Come over to Macedonia and help us!" Immediately they seek to go, concluding God has called them.In Philippi, they find Lydia, seller of purple goods, worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to pay attention to Paul's message. She and her household are baptized. The church in Philippi is born.God guides through closed doors AND open doors.
