Big life/work update! I just hit send on a major application to Annecy’s Residency for The Arbiters (our indie anime-style feature) — huge milestone and real momentum. Right after that… my old car tapped out, so I had to scramble for a new one in the middle of an already packed September. I’m also gearing up for a quick trip, moving from one place to another here in LA, and prepping for our LA Comic Con panel:LA Comic Con Panel: Indie Anime Meets Industry: The Bold Journey Behind The Arbiters — Sat, Sept 27 @ 5:00 PM, Room 407.Behind the scenes, The Arbiters keeps building steam. And I’m choosing to pause/slow down a bit — not a defeat, just a smart reprioritization. Sometimes we need grace and downtime anyway to keep doing our best creative work because life can be a lot sometimes. That’s why I’m literally filming this on the drive to a screening of my short “5 Minute Film School” so I can make the most use of the drive.
