World Campus student Christina Furister was diagnosed with cancer at 14, and survived in part from the Four Diamonds Fund and funds raised by Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon, more fondly known to Penn Staters as "THON." Christina shares her story on this episode of PawCast, from her initial diagnosis at 14 to learning from her doctors that she was cancer free. You can learn about THON, the largest student-run philanthropy in the world, which has donated more than $89 million for the fight against pediatric cancer.
