Pax Americana Episode 13

Thank you to everyone who joined Olga Lautman and me for this week’s episode of Pax Americana. Today was not just a typical Thursday. It was a day that will live in infamy because of the capitulation by the House of Representatives to Trump’s budget bill. This affects us both here at home and it affects are allies and enemies abroad. The votes of fewer than five hundred men and women in Washington shook the world this afternoon. To our fellow Americans — thank you for continuing to believe that our county can one day return to being that shining city on the hill. To our friends across the world — thank you for believing, as we do, that what happened this week does not represent the soul of the United States.We are deeply grateful to you, especially during these dark times.
