Talked with Georgia Boyer, Communications and Brand Manager, American Humane. American Humane has been promoting the welfare and safety of animals since1877. They have a wide variety of programs. One that most folks see is the Humane Hollywood, "No animals were harmed in the making of this movie" or safety seals on eggs, etc at the store. They just finished the voting on the Hero Dogs and their Hero Dogs Awards Gala will be happening at the Breakers this year on November 10th. Their are five categories and a finalist for each. The overall winner will be announced at the Gala.
