Talked with Pamela Weinthrop, Executive Director, Barbara Steller, Board Member and Linda Schaps, Board Member, Children's Founation of Palm Beach County. The Children's Foundation's mission is to identify and fund projects at charities in Palm Beach County to aid "at-risk" children and their families. They have worked with over 30 charities to help feed, clothe, provide medical/dental care, provide beds, access to summmer camps and more. One of their big fundraisers is coming up. It's their 3rd annual Walk the Walk during Palm Beach marathon weekend happening on December 9th at Post Park, 104 Datura St., West Palm Beach. Tickets are $50 general/$150 VIP, children under 12 are free. This year they've added a Shop and Sip event at the Royal Poinciana Plaza Courtyard on December 8th from 5-7pm. Portions of the sales will go to the Children's Foundation.
