PB PERS Hanley Foundation

Talked with Barbara Shafer and Dr. Megan Van Ella about the Hanley Foundation. Their mission is to provide substance abuse prevention and education programs for parents, caregivers and school-age children. In addition, the foundation provides financial aid scholarships for patients who could not otherwise afford addiction treatment. As part of their outreach, Project C4OPE, Barbara will be leading a free seminar at Origins Resource Center on 4/26 in the evening to help educate folks and to connect families who've experienced the loss of a loved one due to opioid overdose, survived an overdose, or are at high risk for overdose.
