Talked to Brandon Phillips from Polo for a Purpose. He’s a professional polo player who survived lymphoma as a child and created the charity to help leukemia lymphoma society, lls, in its mission to find cures for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, as well as improving the quality of life of their patients and their families locally. Last year they raised $500,000 and are hoping to raise even more this year. Their event will be held on Monday Jan 15 at the International Polo Club in Wellington, Florida. Starts at Noon with cocktail reception pool side, followed by a gourmet luncheon, silent auction, live auction and of course exhibition polo match. This year there will be an after party as well.
