They are getting ready for the STEM Innovation awards and the deadline for listeners to submit nominations is August 9th. Nominees can be individuals, corporations, educators, scientists and non-profit organizations, tech club, . The awards ceremony will be September 7th from 6-9pm. Listeners can nominate/get tickets at SFSciencecenter.org. We also talked about the shark week events that are wrapping up (can still get pic in the shark cage after) their sensory days, mini golf, science trail, brain exhibition and a new traveling exhibit, "Hall of Heroes". They can also host large groups for training, weddings, birthdays. Iheart just did a training day there and we were able to enjoy the stand alone learning center and then a round of golf for team building.
