Chef Zach and Denise came in to talk about Share Our Strength's awesome fundraiser that's coming up on April 4th at the Kravis called Palm Beach's Taste of the Nation. It's a great opportunity for listeners to come try out bites, nibbles, wine, cocktails, craft beer/ciders and coffees while raising money for a great cause. There are Chefs from 50 of the best local restaurants showcasing what they do. Marge and Vanessa from Palm Health Foundation came in to talk about their community initiative to get people physically active for 30 minutes a day. They have a "LET'S MOVE: COMMIT TO CHANGE PHYSICAL ACTIVITY CHALLENGE" that's going on through 3/31. Listeners can sign up and log their minutes on the website. And they encourage listeners to keep moving for 30 minutes a day all year long. Studies have shown lots of health benefits from being physically active every day.
