PBL Leadership - Define the Path | E119

from PBL Simplified for Administrators by Magnify Learning · host Magnify Learning

We’ve already talked about defining the dissonance, that feeling that something is wrong with education. During the last PBL Leadership Episode Ryan talked about defining the ideal, what you want your Learners to know when they leave your school. Now Ryan talks about defining the path. Ryan shares four future facing steps you must take in order to define the path for your people to take. Ryan will also tell you how to build an Irreversible Culture so that when you leave to go onto your next adventure, the culture is already solidified.  In this episode of the PBL Simplified Podcast, Ryan answers a Need to Know stemming from the last PBL Leadership Episode, “How do I bring in a continual stream of Community Partners?” In the Leadership Leap, Ryan summarizes The Checklist Manifesto by Atul Gawande. This book is all about different kinds of checklists- from creating a personal checklist to make sure that you go to sleep on time to creating a work checklist for your emails.
