PBS treasure Lidia Bastianich returns with new special and a new book

The legendary PBS chef and personality Lidia Bastianich is out with a brand new book for the holiday season along with a new PBS special. Lidia Celebrates America: A Nation of Neighbors…“In Colorado there’s this kind of restaurant. It’s called SAME, so all may eat. And it is there for those that do not have a place to go. This place, you can pay for your meal and the money goes to continue to subsidize and feed the ones that don’t. But if you’re growing extra vegetables, you have anything extra, you bring it and they use it.”That’s just one of the stories airing on PBS on Lidia Celebrates America premiering November 25th.
