This episode features a discussion with Terri Erbacher, PhD, clinical associate professor of school psychology, whose work focuses on various aspects suicide prevention, intervention and post-vention response and the traumatic impact this loss has on those left behind. The discussion touched on how parents can spot troubling behavior early on; how physicians and behavioral health practitioners can work together to mitigate risk of suicide attempt; and how schools play an important role in the mental health of children and adolescents.
