Peace

Human promises are often delayed, softened, or broken, so real peace needs firmer ground. God kept His ancient promises when Jesus was born in Bethlehem to the virgin Mary, through David's royal line. This King came to bring God's people back, giving His life so their sins could be forgiven. Trust in God's Word rests on His character, while the Lord's Supper gives believers glad assurance of Christ's sacrifice and the kingdom still to come. Preacher: KJ Tromp
