Big Idea: Jesus does not reject those who honestly struggle with doubt; He graciously strengthens their faith through His presence and His Word, leading them from doubt to worship. TEACHING NOTES: Honest Doubt Can Lead Us to Christ- John 20:24–25 • Thomas missed Jesus' first appearance. • Isolation often makes doubt grow. • Thomas wanted certainty before believing. His struggle was understandable after the crucifixion. Jesus Meets Doubters with Mercy- John 20:26–28 • Jesus patiently waited for Thomas. • He knew Thomas' doubts before Thomas spoke. • Christ offered evidence, not condemnation. Blessed Are Those Who Believe Without Seeing- John 20:29–31 • Future believers would know Christ through Scripture. • John's Gospel was written to produce faith. Fight Doubt with Faith- Romans 10:17 /2 Corinthians 5:7 • Faith grows through God's Word. • We walk by faith, not by sight. • God's promises are stronger than our feelings. Trust God When You Don't Understand- Romans 11:33 • Not every question will be answered in this life. • Faith trusts God's character when His ways remain hidden. • God is working even when we cannot see Him.
