Peace In a Time of War | Sunday Night Prayer for Calm, Protection and Hope

Good evening and welcome to this Sunday Night Prayer, coming to you live from London, England on RB Christian Radio on Global Blend Radio site   Wherever you are across the world, this is a moment to pause, breathe, and come back to the peace that only Jesus Christ can give.

In a world filled with war, uncertainty, rising costs, and constant noise, we turn to Scripture and prayer to steady our hearts. Jesus reminds us in John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” Tonight, we hold onto that promise.

This prayer time moves from global unrest to personal reality. We lift up nations, families, travellers, and those caught in crisis, asking God for protection, peace, and divine covering. We speak Psalm 91 over our lives, trusting that God is our refuge and fortress, and we declare Romans 15:13, believing that the God of hope will fill us with joy, peace, and strength through the power of the Holy Spirit.

We also reflect on the deeper meaning of Passover, connecting Exodus 12 to the cross of Calvary, recognising Jesus Christ as the true Passover Lamb. As we take communion together, we remember that the power is not in the symbol, but in what it represents: redemption, grace, and the gift of salvation.
