PEACE ON EARTH

"God's goodwill in sending the Messiah, brought peace into this lower world. Peace is here put for all that good which flows to us from Christ's taking our nature upon him. This is a faithful saying, attested by an innumerable company of angels, and well worthy of all acceptation, That the good-will of God toward men, is glory to God in the highest, and peace on the earth."   Matthew HenryThe world romanticizes ‘little baby Jesus’. He is cute, cuddly, lovable and most of all harmless. He is born in a stable, laid in a manger amongst the cattle lowing but ‘no crying He makes’, really?  Jesus is so much more than that. Jesus is the purpose, theme and striking feature of the grand tapestry of the Father. The baby born that day in Bethlehem is the long awaited and anointed Redeemer of the world. He is the Master, intent on buying back condemned mankind, intent on saving us from the evil tyrant that had enslaved Adam’s race.  The Prince of Peace had plans to give His life to bring peace to men. GOOD NEWS, our race has been redeemed! Ours is only to believe in His good will toward us to receive His free gift of righteousness, salvation and reconciliation.TEXT: LUKESONGS: O HOLY NIGHT, CHRIS TOMLIN/CECE WINANSi HEARD THE BELLS ON CHRISTMAS DAY, CASTING CROWNSHARK THE HERALD ANGELS SING, CHRIS TOMLINSILENT NIGHT, BETHEL WORSHIP
