Today's Episode Alexis reviews Case 22 from the Pediatric Morning Report book. A 3-year-old Native American male, previously healthy, is brought to your office for worsening swelling of his feet, legs, and thighs. His mother reports an episode of upper respiratory tract infec- tion 2 weeks prior followed by progressive worsening of a lower extremity swelling. She also noticed abdominal distention and diffuse abdominal discomfort. The male denies any dysuria, hematuria, urinary frequency, and urgency but his mother mentions that his urine appears foamy lately.
