A 10-year-old female presents to clinic reporting recurrent episodes of burning pain during urina- tion, urinary incontinence, and increased urinary frequency. She has a history of recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs). The present urinary symptoms started 2 days ago. She denies having fever, chills, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, or flank pain. In between these episodes, the child denies having urinary urgency, hesitancy, and incontinence. She has one bowel movement per day and reports no history of constipation.
