Pekudei - Ideation In Our Avodah

The Torah details the process by which the Bnei Yisrael pressed gold and cut it into thin threads in order to weave them into the Ephod. What was unique about this process that it is the only creative process the Torah details here? Some ideas in the value of coming up with Chiddushim in our Avodah.
