Pelicans Are Puget Sound's Climate Refugees

This summer one of the largest birds in North America suddenly showed up in Washington’s Puget Sound.Squadrons of white pelicans have set area birders atwitter.They’re trying to figure out where they came from and what it means.While their arrival has been fun for bird watchers, it may not be a good thing for the pelicans.EarthFix reporter Katie Campbell has the story.
