Luke 22:32 (NIV)But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers. Penguins live in the coldest climates on Earth, enduring temperatures that reach minus sixty degrees Celsius every day. The feathers are built perfectly for harsh weather conditions and extra layers of fat to retain body heat and absorb sunlight. Still, none of these tools work as effectively as the penguin huddle! When huddled together (a form of social thermoregulation), at its centre, the waddle of penguins can reach heat of up to thirty-seven degrees Celsius.Like the penguin, as a Christian, you have been given all the power to sustain yourself in the conditions of this cold world, equipped with the Word of God to keep you warm. However, there is immense benefit in strengthening your brothers and sisters in the Lord that can exceed even the prayers you do concerning yourself. You are huddled together with friends or family who are all aligned in the same vision as you. Learn to intercede for your neighbours and brethren around the world as they pray for you. PROPHETIC DECLARATION Like penguin’s huddle to keep each other warm in the cold weather, I strengthen my brothers and sisters in the Lord through my prayers to sustain both their lives and my own, no matter the condition, in Jesus’ Name!
