Penn State Revival Under Campbell | Wisconsin Badgers Football News

Penn State’s coaching carousel just spun wildly — firing James Franklin after a shaky 2025, they’ve landed Matt Campbell, bringing his Iowa State crew and a fresh roster to dominate 2026. Quarterback Rocco Becht’s firepower and safety Marcus Neal Jr.’s turnover artistry form a new identity, while interim coach Terry Smith’s late-season surge capped off with a Pinstripe Bowl win against Clemson proves resilience. Facing Wisconsin at homecoming, the Nittany Lions now eye a playoff run with a surprisingly favorable schedule — USC, Michigan, Washington on tap — and no Ohio State or Indiana in sight.
