The defense allowed only 20 points to one of the most dangerous teams in the country, so we'll discuss them, but the spotlight will be on Drew Allar and his teammates.Most importantly, can Penn State regain their identity? Head coach James Franklin thinks they got away from it last week."Yeah, I think we talked about staying true to our identity, and I thought we got a little bit away from that at times.""Somebody asked me earlier about our goal line package that we've been using, the three running backs and things like that that have been very successful in short yardage. We kind of got away from that."While Franklin acknowledged that the team's identity is grounded in the run game, his main point was that they are an efficient team."I thought our identity was staying on schedule converting on third downs and then either converting on third downs or going for it on fourth down situations. I feel like that had been our identity for the season," Franklin said"We have a lot of respect for their short-yardage defense and how they were defending it, but we did not do that.
