Both Maryland and Penn State are out of contention for the Big Ten title, however, both can contend for a nice bowl game (Penn State can contend for an NY6 Bowl bid) if they win the remainder of their games. Penn State has dominated their "rivalry" with Maryland, with James Franklin going 6-2 in his stretch with Penn State and the Nittany Lions only losing to the Terrapins once before. However, with NFL WRs Dontay Demus and Rakim Jarrett and star QB Taulia Tagovialoa and RB Roman Hemby, the Maryland offense has the potential to beat Penn State the same way they did back in 2020.
