Pentecost: Apocalypse Church

As we look forward to Pentecost, we want to spend a few weeks exploring the third person of the Trinity, Holy Spirit. This week, Alex shared how the Church is the family of God, living by the Spirit in every way, revealing the desire of God. The people of God were always meant to live with the Spirit of God, as an apocalyptic community. The word apocalypse in Greek means “uncovering, disclosure, revelation.” We are meant to be a people who reveal the hope of resurrection and the glory of God in the midst of life on this earth.
