The Holy Spirit is an absolute game changer for the Christian! God sent His Spirit so the dead in Christ would come alive, so our churches would not be cold but instead be hot and on fire for Jesus, so the ordinary would become extraordinary, so miracles would become normal, and so much more!! The Church was birthed in a revival fire on the day of Pentecost! We need the Spirit in us and the baptism of the Holy Spirit on us! The Holy Spirit is the key to effective evangelism! God poured out His Spirit on the day of Pentecost for the purpose of being an effective, powerful witness for Jesus! The disciples quickly moved into mission after they were filled in the upper room. As we go, He goes! As we preach the good news and pray for the sick, the Holy Spirit moves in power! Everything happens by the Holy Spirit! We have to have Him in us, and Jesus will baptize us into Him! It's the Spirit-filled life that we all long for!!
