People Are Going Nuts Over Those Starbucks 'Bearista' Cups

Starbucks dropped that adorable limited-edition “Bearista” cup last Thursday and people are going nuts trying to get their hands on one or selling them for big bucks. It’s a glass cup shaped like a little bear holding a Starbucks drink and it has this cute green beanie lid. It sold out almost immediately and now resellers online are asking insane prices, anywhere from around $170 all the way up to over $1,000 for a cup that originally cost about 30 bucks. There were even claims that some Starbucks employees snagged them before customers could, which only made the frenzy worse. And of course, because the hype is real, dupe culture kicked in. Now there are look-alike bear cups popping up on Amazon and Walmart for like 20 bucks. They look super similar. Starbucks said they sent out a huge amount of these cups, more than almost any other holiday item but even with that massive stock they still couldn’t keep up.
