People Power Against Trump: 300,000 Attend Unity Rally in Mexico City

On Sunday, March 9, 350,000 people filled Mexico City's Zocalo to overflowing in a national unity rally to protest Trump's tariff threats. In this episode, Kurt and José Luis analyze the effects of this display of people power together with President Sheinbaum's negotiating skills. They also discuss recent consitutional reforms, including anti-nepotism and anti-reelection measures together with a ban on GMO corn. And Sunday's wasn't the only march in town: they also discuss Saturday's 8M women's march, and conclude with a collective losers and haters in which 35 Congressional Republicans let their paranoia run wild regarding the Maya Train and the now-closed Vulcan Materials quarry in the Yucatan.
