[Pep Talk] Don't Get Offended, But...

“Offense is offered, but you don’t have to take it.” -Brian Dawkins I’ve found this quote so poignant at this point in time when everyone is so offended by everything, it’s unbelievable. It feels like we literally cannot say something without potentially offending somebody. We’re expected to walk on eggshells in how we speak and show up online in the hopes of pleasing everyone, but this goes against everything I believe to be true. When there is something that you feel strongly about, that you believe to be true, you don’t have to bend and twist that truth to fit the needs of other people.
