Pepperdine Lands Israeli Star Sahar | Pepperdine Waves Basketball News

Pepperdine’s basketball program is about to get a global superstar: Oren Sahar, a dynamic Israeli guard who’s already lighting up European and international stages, is headed to Malibu for the 2026-27 season. A proven scorer and playmaker, Sahar wowed at the FIBA U19 World Cup and leads Israel in scoring at the U20 level, while also winning a league title with Maccabi Tel Aviv and hitting over 35% of his threes. Coach Aldrich is thrilled—this is the kind of talent that fits their system perfectly. Watch out, because Sahar’s not just arriving—he’s already making noise.
