Peppermint: Visibility Isn't Enough When Action is Required

She made history as the first out transgender woman on RuPaul's Drag Race and the first to originate a principal role on Broadway and she's never let success quiet her voice. This week, 2026 NYC Pride Grand Marshal Peppermint joins us for a candid conversation about what visibility really costs, why queer people must reclaim their own histories before they're erased, and why she believes joy itself can be an act of resistance. As anti-LGBTQ+ legislation surges across the country, Peppermint makes the case that being seen is only the beginning, now is the moment for action. Got a hot take?
