Perc 30’s Big Leap to Badger Line | Wisconsin Badgers Football News

Charles “Perc 30” Perkins is poised to breakout after transferring from UT-Martin, bringing a new energy and size to Wisconsin’s defensive line. Listed among the top DLs, he’s the heaviest on the unit at 6’2” and 330 lbs, earning the nickname “Big Perc.” Despite limited snaps last season due to depth chart positioning and ankle injuries, his offseason has been praised by coaches, who see him as a key contributor this year. With five seasons of college experience and a focus on mastering new techniques, Perkins could step into a starting role and even attract NFL scouts. While there’s risk he doesn’t live up to expectations, his size, work ethic, and unique style make him a fan favorite in the making.
