Performing Righteousness - 1 John 3:4 - 10 - Matthew Niemier

from Villas Grace Church · host Villas Grace Church

Each country and culture defines lawlessness subjectively. The same is becoming increasingly true for our American culture. This is why "Social Justice" is prevalent. So, what exactly is "Social Justice?" It's the distribution of wealth, opportunities and privileges among society. As Christians, we do not believe that the word "justice" needs an adjective. Why? Because justice is precisely just that, justice! The difference is that we view lawlessness objectively. We know that God's Word is the true standard of how to live. We know that God's justice calls us to live righteously, by loving God and others equally! We also know that the following statement by John MacArthur is true: "No temporal, political, social enterprise is a component of the saving Gospel." Join us this Sunday for our sermon, "Performing Righteousness" from 1 John 3:4-10.
