The Perry City Council unanimously approved amendments to the city’s current fiscal year 2025-26 budget, updating revenues and expenditures to reflect year-end financial activity while shifting planned Class C road fund transfers into the next fiscal year. Several revenue categories exceeded the city’s original projections, Perry City Finance Director Shanna Johnson said. Tax revenue is expected to finish ,689 above budget, licenses and permits 4,075 higher, intergovernmental revenue 3,864 higher and charges for services ,161 above projections.
