Perry sets police unification open house

Perry City will hold a pub­lic town hall Thursday, Feb. 19, to gather feedback on what of­ficials described as a “pilot pro­gram for unification” between the Perry Police Department and the Tremonton–Garland Po­lice Department. Councilmembers said the town hall will give residents an opportunity to ask questions and share concerns directly with city leaders and law en­forcement officials before any formal action is taken.
