Persevering Faith Pt. 1

What is faith, and how is it lived out in the life of a believer? Pastor Lance pulls apart Hebrews 11:1, and discusses how this generation of the church has found itself facing new challenges to their faith. In the book of Hebrews, the author is contrasting what believers have left behind versus the superiority of Christ in every aspect of life. We may be tempted to return to the former things of the world, but Jesus is worth more than anything we could ever go back to. In examining the definition of faith, and how it is lived out in our society today, Pastor Lance emphasizes the importance of putting our confidence in the Lord alone and having conviction that what He says, He will do. He asks, "what is one thing God has asked you to do in the past 6 months, and have you obeyed?" What kind of faith does your life exhibit?
