Persevering Faith - The 144,000 | The Tribulation | May 25, 2025

In this week’s message, Pastor Rebekah Layton dives into Revelation 14 and the powerful example of the 144,000—those who remain faithful to Jesus through great tribulation. Their lives remind us that persevering faith is not passive; it’s a daily, active pursuit of Christ. We examined what it means to truly believe, drawing from the Greek meaning of John 3:16—a continual trust in Jesus. Through Matthew 4:4, we were reminded that God's Word is essential for spiritual survival, just as food is for the body. The sermon challenged us to keep our eyes on the Lamb, just as the 144,000 do, and to worship with passion, not for show, but out of love for Christ. With Mark 12:30 as our guide, we were called to love God with undivided devotion. This message is a call to endure—to be people of the Word, focused on Jesus, worshiping with our whole hearts, and living with unwavering commitment in a world filled with trials.
