Personal Development in the Trades

from Construction Royalty

Personal Development in the trades is one of the most underrated things in the industry. 95% of the peoplein the construction industry don't focus on this and we believe it's a huge issue that needs to be addressed. The reason we believe this is because working inside of the construction industry is one of the toughest and most difficult jobs you can have that will drain your body physically over time. If you don't take of your mental and physical health, then the job will become more difficult over time. I grew up in the indutry since I was 10 years old and I've seen this play out in the long run for many people and it isn't pretty. Personal devolopment includes: reading books, daily stretching, lifting weights, meditation, journaling, drinking plenty of water daily, limiting alcohol and smoking and whatever else you think will help you not just out in the field but in life in general.
