Personal Experiment: 30 Days of Running
from STRESSD Podcast · host Julia Arndt
How does your morning routine look like? Does it set you up for continued focus and productivity throughout the day? No? You might need to rethink how you start into your day. I was challenged with the same questions a few weeks ago. Even though I have a powerful morning routine and I exercise regularly after my workday, I felt like I wasn't creating enough energy to sustain my focus throughout the day. You see, like most of you, I spend 7-9 hours in the office every day, mostly sitting. By the time 1pm hit, I felt exhausted, unproductive and tired. So I started a personal experiment: 15 - 20 minute of exercise every morning before I start my workday (even when I have a meeting at 7:30 am in the morning). If I made it 30 days, how many miles I ran and how it influenced my energy are things that I am going to share with you in this week's podcast episode. In this podcast episode you will learn:Why I started running every dayHow I overcame the voice in my head asking me to quitHow many miles I ran in 30 days and why even small steps lead to big incrementsEnjoy listening.
