Personal interaction in a tennis game

Today I saw a picture of a casual game of tennis on a tennis court. Then I saw a tennis match being seen on a large screen which ended up being turned off for whatever reason, such as no electricity. I believe that Jesus is telling us that He wants a personal interaction with us as with the players face to face on a tennis court, rather than with us having a distant knowledge of Him. Not only does He want to hear and see us, He also knows us and understands us. In the gospel of John 15:4-8 Jesus gives the wonderful analogy of us being connected to Him such as with the branches of a vine. In that place of being one vine, paying attention to His Word and He attending to our requests which are in keeping with His ways, we will bear much fruit. How awesome it is for us when we are seen, heard, known and understood by our loving creator who wants us to be at one with Him.
