She has lived across the US and traveled the globe in pursuit of learning different soils, environments, and traditions that make a bottle of wine excellent. When it comes to pairing wine from all over the world, the opinion of Liz Martinez is the aficionado you want! Acing her Sommelier exam with only a few weeks to prepare (and on her first try), some may say this career was made for her. Her expansive taste for wine and the history behind it won her the prestigious title Food and Wine Magazine Sommelier of the Year (2019) and she was a James Beard semifinalist (2022).
