Perspectives: Meg Walker

from MindMatters · host Sneha Suresh

Meg is one the most helpful, authentic and genuine human beings I've ever met and I'm so glad to be able to call her my friend. Meg is the host of the incredible My Kind of People Podcast and graciously accepted my invitation to be on MindMatters but did suggest we mix things up a bit... Listen to us talk about the origin stories behind our podcasts, how crazy different the careers we are pursuing and how podcasting was never part of our plans. There's a power in vulnerability that we often don't realize until we witness it ourselves and how grief is such an un-tameable emotion. We talk about what community means to us, lessons we've learnt in our lives and experiences and about the non-profits close to our hearts. Beautiful metaphors and lessons we've experienced and moments that forever changed our lives. We have an open conversation about community, life, mental health and everything in between. In fact, we had such a good time talking to one another, we couldn't fit it all in one episode! So this is just part 1! Tune back next week for part 2! Don't forget to check out Meg's training, Podcast and this wonderful soul who I'm very lucky to call my friend.
