On Saturday, May 8 at 7pm, the Atlanta chapter of the NAACP will host a virtual town hall meeting to discuss COVID vaccine and the hesitancy some people have toward taking the shot. Among the guest on the panel will be Dr. Kizzie Corbet the lead scientist behind the Moderna vaccine. The town hall meeting is free and open to all. Next a conversation about the Accion Opportunity Fund. The Fund has partnered with American Express to invest $40 million dollars in minority businesses operating for at least one year.
