It is the number one reason people make an appointment to see their primary care physician. Dr. Mohamed Bydon is a Mayo Clinic neurosurgeon and author of Back and Neck Health: Mayo Clinic Guide to Preventing and Correcting Back and Neck Pain. Dr. Bydon outlines different ways to treat back and neck pain, including self-care at home, non surgical interventional approaches and also different types of surgery. A July 4th tradition returns to Atlanta this weekend - July 3 and 4 in the AJC Peachtree Road Race. This year the race will support nine nonprofits as people get their run on. One of those nonprofits is the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The stress of the pandemic has led to an uptick in calls. Mariana Cruz, a AFSP volunteer and runner talks about some of the warning signs.
