Tener un grado de liderazgo elevado requiere ser capaz de persuadir (no manipular) a las personas a que tomen las acciones que sabemos que son mejores para ellas y la realidad social. Como tal la persuasión es un proceso en el cual buscamos obtener un "sí" de manera general y dado el hecho de que vivimos en sociedad nuestras interacciones con la realidad social suelen, de manera simplista, estar sujetas a respuestas como"sí o no". Saber como mejorar nuestros procesos de comunicación para obtener más "sí" y menos "no" es vital para poder ser capaces de cautivar e inspirar a personas a la acción, ante causas positivas en el mundo.
