Perussuomalainen puolue ja valtiovarainministeri Riikka Purra ehdottavat kunta- ja aluevaaliohjelmassaan, että terveellisistä elintavoista saisi esim. työtuloverovähennyksen. Samaan aikaan hallitus kuitenkin nosti liikuntapalveluiden arvonlisäverokantaa 10 prosentista 14 prosenttiin.
